Mental Health Recovery Series


This course if for any family supporting someone struggling with their mental health. It  gives families an opportunity to learn how to create an environment that will nurture their family member’s recovery process. Families also explore ways to take care of themselves and grow in their own recovery process. Some topics discussed are:

    * Exploring The Recovery Model and Understanding Stages
    * Hopelessness and The Power of Hope
    * Role of the Family and Resilience
    * Sharing Family Experiences and Challenges
    * Power and Control in the Family
    * Motivation and Stages of Change
    * Strengths In The Family
    * Self-Reflection and Self-Care
    * Barriers to Mental Health Recovery
